UserConnect Settings

UserConnect Social Settings

UserConnect Social is a built in social networking application that allows users to connect and engage with one another within the LMS. Social Settings are divided into three settings.

 

Enable/Disabled UserConnect Social

Disabling UserConnect Social will prevent users from being able to connect with each other, post updates to UserConnect, or view each other's UserConnect pages. Disabling also nullifies any further setting changes to UserConnect Settings, as it will not be accessible to Users. 

 

Enable Auto-Posts

When enabled a post will be added to a user's UserConnect wall whenever they pass a course. This is designed to provide a method for other users to reguarly interact with each other, when using the social aspect of the LMS. 

 

Auto-Connect

In UserConnect, users can only see posts, updates, and chats with users that they are connected with. 

You can toggle different options to automatically connect users when they sign into the Learning Portal. 

  • to the admin's linked user account.

  •  to their manager, if they have one.

  •  connect users to other users who are in the same Organizations as they are.

  •  to other users who are in the same Branch within an Organization as they are.
