Email Notifications

Learning > Instructor Led Training > Training Programs > Manage > Email Notifications 

From this area, the ILT Program can have emails attached to the Program itself, which are sent to the cooresponding parties based on the Sessions and Meeting dates, User (dis-)enrollments, New Sessions being added, Waitlists, and Seat Availability. 

Before creating additional emails, consider checking your Program defaults, as new Programs are created with any default emails that have been set up. 

To create a new notification email, select + Add a New Email; this will bring up an email builder.

Next, use the dropdown to select who should be receive the email: the admin, the instructors, waitlisted users, enrolled users, individual users, users' direct manager, or someone else (fill in a specific email address). 

Depending on the option selected, certain dropdown options may change in the following prompts. 

After selecting who receives the email, select when the email should be sent. These are not static dates; this email will be sent dynamically, based on when an action occurs, or a defined number of days before a meeting or session's dates. 

For the next two steps, you're crafting the email itself; first assign a subject to the email, and then the body. The body field has a placeholder dropdown immediately below, so that you can populate the email with dynamic information, related to the user (such as user profile information, manager information, and session/meeting information).
