Managing Keycodes

Keycode Overview

There's two words/phrases to be aware of when discussing Keycodes: Keycodes and Keycode Types.

Keycodes are a series of characters that are redeemed by, or for, a User. Keycodes are generated when a Manager purchases a collection of Keycodes from the Agent store, or when generated manually by the admin. When redeemed, a Workflow will be executed.

Keycode Types are the criteria Keycodes are generated for. It's here where you would dictate what Workflow is executed, how long generated Keycodes are valid for, etc. In very basic terms, you could think of Keycode Types as Keycode 'factories' - all Keycodes produced from a 'factory' will behave the same (based on the configurations you assign), but behave differently than a Keycode produced in a different 'factory'.
