How do you enroll students into a course?
Beyond enrolling them yourself (as the course administrator), you can use the student-enrollment or proctor-enrollment system so proctors can enroll students, or students can enroll themselves. For Weblearning Professional plans, you can also use the web service (and for example, integrate your ecommerce) for automating enrollments.
How does the student get to the Quiz or Course?
Typically, you provide your students with the course home page (you can email them from inside the system, or post the link somewhere on your existing web site). You can also send them to your server main page for a complete listing of your courses (if enabled on your server) - they would simply need to click on the course name to log in (or, you can configure the links to take the student or proctors to the enrollment page if you have Weblearning Basic or Weblearning Professional).
How many students can take a quiz?
As many as you want - all plans now include an unlimited number of 'views' by an unlimited number of students (aka 'named users').
What does a quiz look like?
It looks like you want it to look. You can apply one of about 100 different visual templates, and then further 'tweak' the look by applying standard css.
You can also configure scrolling mode (all questions on a single page), or navigational mode (one per page, with navigational buttons).
You also configure the end-of-test report. It can be any custom page you want, and can include information like the score, missed questions, category scores, and more.
Are browser plug-ins required to take the test?
No. Weblearning tests are compatible with most modern web browsers, including Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Can Quizzes be timed?
Yes. You can easily set a time limit on an exam during the publishing phase.
Can I require students to pass a quiz before moving on to another one?
Yes. You can set up your course layout to only enable one quiz at a time, or, allow them to take quizzes in any order they choose. You can also set logic to occur at the end of each quiz based on whether they pass or they fail (for example, only allow them to retake the quiz until they pass).
Can I include other content besides quizzes and presentations with my course?
Yes. You can include various popular formats of files including pdf, flash, excel, word, powerpoint, html, and more. You can also include hyperlinks to other content that exists on the Internet such as material on your web site, or anywhere else on the Internet.
Can enrollment of students be integrated with our ECommerce?
Yes, on Weblearning Professional and Enterprise Plans. Your ecommerce system would simply need to send a query string or HTTP post to a special service script on your Weblearning Server.
