Clearing Your Browser's Cache

Clearing your browser’s cache can force recently changed web pages to show up properly. Each browser handles caching differently, so be sure to follow the correct steps for your particular browser. Note: If your browser version is not listed here, Google has more comprehensive instructions covering older versions of these browsers.
 

Microsoft Edge
  1. To view your browsing history, select Hub > History.
  2. Select Clear all history.
  3. Choose the types of data you want to remove from your PC then select Clear.
  4. If you use Cortana and want to clear browsing history that's stored in the cloud, select Change what Microsoft Edge knows about me in the cloud, then select Clear browsing history.

Internet Explorer
  1. In your browser's menu bar go to Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete
  2. From this window delete the Temporary Internet Files.
  3. Close this window, then select OK before exiting the browser.

Firefox
  1. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Click on the Network tab.
  4. In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now.
  5. Close the Preferences

Google Chrome
  1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.

Safari
  1. Open the Safari drop down from the toolbar.
  2. Click Reset Safari.
  3. Check the types of data you'd like to clear.
  4. Click Reset and close the menu.
