Overview: Weblearning Editions
Determining which plan is the right fit for you depends primarily on what you need to accomplish, and also what your budget is. Here is a quick overview.
Weblearning Lite
This plan offers a very economical way to get started, and is packed with all of the most popular features. It is a hosted solution, meaning you don't need a web server of your own.
What You Get
Weblearning Lite includes all of our most popular features, like unlimited students and courses, authoring of multiple choice and multiple answer question styles, the ability to upload images and other types of documents, basic reporting, export to excel functions, and more. Essentially, you get all of the core features and functionality of the authoring and delivery system.
What You Don't Get
When you enroll into a Weblearning Lite plan, you are given an account on one of our shared Weblearning servers. This means your account will co-exist with other accounts on the same server (although nobody else will be able to get into your account). As a consequence, you accept the default server configurations (which would otherwise be configurable if you went with a Weblearning Basic or Weblearning Professional plan).
Also, you will not have the ability to 'brand' your account with your own logos (meaning no custom quiz banners, no custom course banners, and no custom certificates), and the server name will be something related to Atrixware, and not to your company.
Weblearning Basic
This plan adds many benefits, including your own server name, branding of your server with your logo/banner, custom logos/banners per course and per quiz/presentation (so you can brand your courses), custom passing certificates per quiz, ability to create both graded and practice quizzes, and more reporting options. We host it for you so you don't need to be a computer geek to get started, and we offer it in monthly and annual plans.
What You Get
Weblearning Basic includes all of our most popular features, but is a dedicated server, with its own URL, logo, and settings. Unlike the Lite plan, you are not sharing a server with other accounts, and that means you control the settings for the server, so it will operate the way you require.
Branding is important to most companies, and Weblearning Basic gives you several features here. You are able to assign custom banner logos to your courses as well as your quizzes, and you can also create custom certificate layouts and content per-quiz.
Also added to Weblearning Basic are some additional reporting views, including course level reports, and student access reports. You also gain the ability to create 'practice' quizzes in addition to 'graded' quizzes.
What You Don't Get
Missing from Weblearning Basic are mostly features that would come in handy if you are selling online courses and tests for profit (including ecommerce integration ability, student expiration dates, ability to create learning presentations, and fancier question styles). If this is your intended use, you will want to have a look at the Professional or Enterprise Plans.
Weblearning Professional
This plan (our most popular) adds even more benefits, especially if you are selling online courses and exams. It includes the ability to integrate enrollments with your ecommerce (for automated enrollments while you sleep), start and expiration dates for students (so their 'purchased' login expires after a certain time), more question types (matching, fill-in-the-blank, pick list, true/false, and yes/no), more module types (you can create learning presentations, and also the ability to insert presentation slides intermized with your quizzes), even more reporting options, customizable enrollment form (to collect more info from your students other than name/pw/email) - including 6 custom fields you define (especially handy on the passing certificates). We host it for you so you don't need to be a computer geek to get started, and we offer it in monthly and annual plans.
Weblearning Professional includes every feature we offer. It includes a server with its own URL, logo, and custom settings. You get complete branding ability, proctored enrollments, all question styles (including multiple choice, multiple answer, matching, pick list, fill-in-the-blank, true/false, yes/no, essay, and presentation slide), ability to create graded quizzes, practice quizzes, and learning presentations, e-commerce integration abilities via the webservice API, ability to set starting and expiration dates for students, and complete student information database ability with 6 custom-definable field names.
Weblearning Enterprise
Weblearning Enterprise is offered as a License you can install on your server (or we host it for you if you prefer). The Enterprise license has the same core features as the Hosted Weblearning Pro plan, although the additional benefits are many, including the fact that you can make it more secure (for example, offer it only internally on your intranet if you choose), you have full access to the plugins and templates folders (so you can extend the system), and you can purchase additional course admin accounts for your server more economically that if you were to chose one of the hosted solutions. This is of course, on top of the fact that you actually 'own' the software license with this package.
